More Orthodox Territorial Squabbling

This is a follow up to a previous post. Here we see more territorial squabbling - the natural result of sola ecclesia. Follow the link (link).

What squabbling has got to do with "sola ecclesia", I have no idea.

I suppose if I show you a photo of protestants fighting, it will disprove sola scriptura? Or what about the reformers jealously guarding their territory against the papists?

I'm glad you asked.

The connection is that sola ecclesia leads to ultra-sectarianism. In turn, ultra-sectarianism is revealed in territorial squabbles between supposedly "ecumenical" parties.

Thus, we previously saw the Russian Orthodox trying to get the Catholics to stop proselytizing Russian Orthodox folks, and we now see Armenians and Orthodox duking it out over their half of the shrine in Bethlehem.

The Reformers sought to guard their territory against papal armies - armies that would kill them.

I suppose sometimes Protestants fight - but I've never seen the equivalent to either of the two items to which I linked, and I doubt those two items are the full extent of the reportable Orthodox territorial squabbling.
